Our mission of “E hoʻoulu i ke kaiaʻōlelo Hawaiʻi no ko Hawaiʻi nei i mau aku ʻo Hawaiʻi he ʻāina Aloha” (To drive and inspire change to ensure a living Hawaiian language in Hawaiʻi and beyond) coupled with our vision of “E Ola Ka ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi” (The Hawaiian Language shall live) are at the core of the many initiatives and milestones the ʻAha Pūnana Leo is bringing to fruition. Open Positions



TEACHER AIDE
Pūnana Leo o Hilo, Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi
Pūnana Leo o Hāna, Hāna, Maui
Pūnana Leo o Nuʻuanu, Honolulu, Oʻahu


Responsible for assisting in delivering the Pūnana Leo preschool educational program by working with ʻohana and limahana. Requires a familiarity of the Hawaiian language.

Pay: $15.00/hour


CHILD CARE AIDE
Pūnana Leo o Hilo, Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi
Pūnana Leo o Waiʻanae, Waiʻanae, Oʻahu

Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Pūnana Leo infant toddler educational program by working with families and staff. Requires a familiarity of the Hawaiian language.

Pay: $15.00/hour


CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Puʻuhonu, Hilo, Hawaiʻi

Develop, design and manage the financial initiatives of the ʻAha Pūnana Leo through sound fiscal policies and practices. Must actively work toward becoming fluent in Hawaiian language.

Pay: $90k-135k/year
