Iā ʻoe me ka mea ʻohi kālā, e koho i ka ʻAha Pūnana Leo ke kūʻai hele hou ʻoe ma Foodland!

E huliāmahi!

This year ʻAha Pūnana Leo set a goal to raise $2,500 by participating in Give Aloha, Foodland’s Annual Community Matching Gifts Program! This program honors Foodland’s founder, Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan, and continues his legacy of giving back to the community.

How It Works
Until the end of September, customers are invited to make donations of up to $249 to participating Hawaiʻi non-profit organizations at checkout at any Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms. Foodland and the Western Union Foundation will match a portion of each donation.

How to Donate
At checkout, inform the cashier that you would like to make a donation to ʻAha Pūnana Leo, code number 78812 (Pūnana Leo Preschools). Please remember to use your Maikaʻi Card so that your contribution will be eligible for a match. Your donation will be added to your grocery purchase total.

Are These Contributions Tax Deductible?
These contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. The amount you donate and the name of our organization will appear on your receipt. Donations must be payable to Foodland or Sack N Save so save your store receipt for tax purposes, it will be the only record you will have of your donation(s).
